Square Grey Gotland Sheepskin Pillow Cover
Gotland Sheepskin Pillow Cover
The Gotland sheep of Sweden are one of the rarest breeds in the world. We went to great lengths to source premium Gotland sheepskins with the soft, tight curls and beautiful natural shades of grey that make this breed so distinctive.
Creating these pillows took us nearly a year.
Gotland sheepskins are rare and expensive, and not every tannery is willing to cut them into smaller pieces. We worked closely with our partner tannery in Sweden to develop a pillow that would showcase the character of the hide while making the most of every precious piece.
The result is a pillow made exclusively in Sweden for Black Sheep White Light β and produced in very limited quantities.
The front is made from 100% genuine Gotland sheepskin, with its signature tight curls and naturally varied grey tones, while the back is finished in durable grey wool. Available in bothΒ square and rectangular shapes, these pillows bring texture, warmth, and a distinctly Scandinavian feel to a living room, bedroom, reading nook, or favorite chair.
And because we believe luxury should be effortless, every pillow comes complete with an insert. No extra searching, no fuss β just unpack, fluff, and enjoy.
Gotland sheepskin is naturally beautiful, wonderfully tactile, and completely individual. No two hides are exactly alike, which means every pillow has its own character.
Rare sheepskin. Swedish craftsmanship. Made exclusively for BSWL.
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE SHEEPSKINS ON DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR BY BRIGHT WINDOWS - IT WILL RESULT IN SIGNIFICANT COLOUR CHANGE!Β
PLEASE NOTE: AS A NATURAL PRODUCT SHEEPSKIN MAY TRANSFER FIBERS AND DYES TO SOFT FABRIC/LEATHER FURNITURE.
Shake and/or vacuum occasionally to remove dust and debris. In the event of a spill or stain, mix wool-specific detergent with warm water to produce foam. Using foam only (never soak or submerge sheepskin in water β it will harden the back suede), work the foam over the affected area and pat dry with a clean cloth. Shake and leave to dry, finish with a combing.
