Shake and/or vacuum occasionally to remove dust and debris. In the event of a spill or stain, mix wool-specific detergent with warm water to produce foam. Using foam only (never soak or submerge sheepskin in water – it will harden the back suede), work the foam over the affected area and pat dry with a clean cloth. Shake and leave to dry, finish with a combing.

Black Sheep (White Light) hold ourselves to a high ethical standard in sourcing our animal products.

We only offer real sheepskin rugs, a natural byproduct of the farming industry, making them a sustainable choice for your home, thus maximizing the utility of each animal while reducing the potential waste associated with this primary usage.

We import all our skins from Europe: Iceland, Sweden, Finland and UK and only work with handful ethical producers, who share the same vision – no animal is raised or killed primary for our product.

In Iceland sheep roam free entire year, they live beautiful life and tradition raising these sheep go back hundreds years ago.

So when we say that every sheepskin tells a unique story—its first of all a story of sustainable choice. It's a feel-good purchase, representing an animal that has lived a full and happy life. Their sheepskin is not just material, it's a heritage.
